They first met years ago through friends. Always in contact but never quite finding the right times in their lives to connect. As she was making moves in her life, Jennifer finally made the first move and things took off from there.

They both wanted a small elopement without all the formalities and grandeur of a typical wedding. When they first started dating, they spent a lot of nights on the beach. This almost became sacred to us. After a long day of work, we would get a bottle of wine, snacks, blankets, and watch the sunset together. We would sit out there for hours until it was only us, and pitch black, just talking about life, contemplating silly thoughts and laughing about how we ended up there together. To me, the beach signifies the foundation of our relationship and it’s a place we both really love for so many reasons.

Naturally, their “official” life together started on the beach. We visited Carmel on a whim last fall and both fell in love with its peaceful and romantic vibes. Not to mention, it’s extremely dog friendly 🙂
