Ceyda and Adrej got married in one of the most magical places in Switzerland – Lucerne. It’s a location where elegance effortlessly meets romance. This adventurous couple met and instantly hit it off, and have shared their special time together diving into hobbies like cooking, playing tennis, and visiting amazing restaurants.
Here’s how I captured this spectacular Lake Lucerne wedding!
The theme for their wedding was as elegant and refined as the couple. Their chic outdoor ceremony was held right at the lake, at Park Hotel. The 19th century Swiss Villa gave an unforgettable panoramic view for their Lake Lucerne wedding.
A fun bridesmaids’ pre-wedding aperitif kept the vibe light and energetic. And Cincerella-like captured images from the bride’s preparation revealed Ceyda’s elegance and beauty on the special day. The bride and bridesmaids laughed and danced with the unforgettable panoramic view of the lake.
Once the bride and groom finished getting ready in their separate locations, we all made our way to the main foyer at the 19th century Switzerland wedding venue. With floor to ceiling glass windows and doors, the foyer was filled with immaculate natural light. It made for the perfect location for their first look!
After the two spent their intimate moment together, they decided on a boat ride out on Lake Lucerne. They soaked in the amazing mountain panorama, while I captured everything for them in their stunning wedding celebration photos!
Ceyda decided on a luxury victorian styled ball gown like dress with embroidery and a lace white and nude corset top from the designer Galia Lahav. The detailed lace ran down the high wasted skirt and was detailed in perfect proportion.
Amazing details from the circular floral ceremony backdrop to Ceyda’s endless sheer lace train gave this wedding a chic elegance that was perfect for the location and the event. Pops of neutral rose and light pink kept the look natural yet classy, and the brides rose gold sparkling heels combined with the luxury details such as the grooms watch, a bottle of Moet & Chandon Champagne, Cartier jewelry and the sterling silver antique mirror created a dreamy sense of opulence and extravagance.
The aisle way at the ceremony was doused in soft pink florals, with folding fans as favors. This extravagant palace was detailed with stone walls, contrasting perfectly with the light elements in the ceremony like the delicate white wooden guest chairs and the white and pink florals. The couple shared the stage walking hand in hand with the lake view behind them.
Nothing quite meets the excitement of just getting married. After the couple has said their vows to one another and the rings are placed, a sensational emotion emits from both the bride and groom.
Those are some of my favorite moments to capture! And with this Switzerland destination wedding, it came at the perfect time – sunset.
As the guests made their way inside the 19th century Switzerland wedding venue, the bride, groom, and I took to a gorgeous lakeside location for their “just married” portraits.
The fun continued at the reception where small candies and chocolate covered strawberries were wonderfully presented in delicate glass decorative containers. The party finished with an extravagant firework celebration capturing the couple’s fun loving nature. The baby pink and gold flake decorated cake was doused in flower petals, cut just before dancing the night away while a live band serenaded the room.
